Teviot started life as a small family business in Edinburgh’s New Town in 1983, and we’ve grown in so many ways. Still fiercely independent, we now have more than 50 people and a great blend of clients in both the UK and USA. But we still feel like a family in the way we take care of each other and challenge one another.
One of the most important things we’ve learnt over the years is how fantastic it feels to finish the day knowing that what you’ve done has had a positive impact. That’s why we encourage everyone here to do everything with purpose – both at work and in their personal lives.
Applying that principle to our relationships with clients makes a whole world of difference. It’s what gives us the edge when it comes to truly understanding our clients’ needs: where they came from, what their challenges are and where they want to go.
We want everyone to be the best that they can be. We’re a strong team and we take care of each other. Our values are open, kind, brave and united.
We have a lunchtime running club and a cycle-to-work scheme, and we’re always organising energetic charity events. These events, coupled with our healthy-eating ambitions, make us feel like we’ve earned our Friday night drinks (not to mention all the other activities organised by our social committee).
